  • How can I access the control panel ?
    • In the Internet browser type http://www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel
  • What are the nameservers for the Windows2000 Servers ?

  • How can I preview my site before the domain name points to your servers?
    • Please go to http://64.21.80.8/~USERNAME. Replace USERNAME with the main username for the site you wish to preview.
      Keep in mind that you can use the IP address of the site to use FTP to upload your files for both dedicated and shared IP sites, but publishing with FrontPage will not work for shared IP sites until the domain name points to the site.
  • Are ODBC Database supported in LUNUX?
    • No, but we do support it in our Win2000 Servers
  • How do I set up my e-mail program to send and receive mail?
    • Example in Microsoft Outlook Express :
      • Go to the Tools menu and select "Accounts..." A new window will open up.
      • Click on the Add button, then select "Mail..." Another new window will open.
      • Enter the following information:
      • E-mail Address: username@domainname.com
      • Click on the Next button and enter the following information:
        • My incoming mail server is a: POP3 :server
        • Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: mail.yourdomainname.com
        • Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomainname.com
      • Click on the Next button and enter the following information:
        • Account name: username%domainname.com
        • Password: Enter the password for the e-mail address.
      • Click on the Next button.
      • Click on the Finish button. The window will close.
      • On the previously opened window, select the account you just created.
      • Click on the Properties... button. A new window will open up.
      • Click on the Servers tab.
      • Enter the following information:
        • REGULAR CONNECTION
        • Check the box next to "My server requires authentication".
        • Click on the OK button.
      • Click on the OK button.
  • How do I change permissions?
    • The File Manager on the customer control panel is used for changing permissions as well. In the File Manager, browse to the directory containing the file or folder you wish to change permissions for, then click the permission option in the right side. To browse inside a folder, just click the icon to your left.
  • How do I upload online?
    • In the Internet browser, set the URL to ftp://username@ftp.yourdomainname.com/
    • You can also have the option of uploading your files in the file manager, just click upload.
